Formed in 1970 and operating for nearly 40 years, Countdown has built up a large selection of household name brands offering a huge range of savings via a discount card, guidebook and website to members of the Countdown programme.

We work with a variety of different organisations including corporate, government, housing associations, local authorities, trade unions and closed membership employee & loyalty reward groups. We provide access to the Countdown programme as a solution for membership benefits, employee and customer rewards as well as loyalty and incentive programmes.

If you are receiving an error whilst registering, firstly please check that you are entering your card number correctly, ensuring that you are entering the number 0 and the letter O where indicated.

This error predominantly occurs when a Countdown Member is trying to access the Countdown Website via a computer or network that has settings which do not allow correct operation of the Countdown Website. This will mainly occur when a member is attempting to access the Countdown Website via a workplace or public computer. Please attempt to login from a home computer or a computer on a non-public network or speak to your system administrator.

There are various ways to access savings via the Countdown Programme. All National Offers carry a symbol which indicates the type of method for obtaining the discount, for details on these symbols, click on the on the How to Save button next to each offer or refer to page 3 of your National Savings Guide. To obtain your discount with Local retailers please produce a valid Countdown Card at time of purchase.
